ASCIT, in collaboration with the Instructional Technology Group of ITC, provides one-on-one and small group consultation, training and presentations on the use of technology in teaching to College faculty and teaching assistants. We support several easy-to-use web-based course tools, allowing students and instructors to manage course materials, share work, create web-based resources and activities, and get automatic feedback on essays, exercises, quizes and tests. ASCIT offers workshops and presentations and publishes a newsletter twice a year on how to use technology creatively.

ASCIT co-sponsors the College Technology Interns Program (CTIP) every year. CTIP matches talented, energetic fourth-year students with faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences of the University of Virginia, in order to facilitate the development and integration of technology innovations in the classroom.
